This patented technology will support municipalities and public water system operators to more cost effectively remove PFAS from water without producing a residual waste stream.

This patent covers Practical Applications process of removing Polyfluoroalkyl Substances from drinking water bodies to concentrations below the current EPA Test method detection limit of 0.82 parts per trillion. “With this PFAS treatment technology, public water system operators will be able to better ensure their water exceeds EPA drinking water standards at a lower cost than existing adsorptions methods. In addition, this process breaks the cycle of removing PFAS from drinking water and returning it to freshwater systems by discharging residuals to the public sewer.”
